I woke up yesterday morning.
and had NO foot pain!

I have taken the last 2 weeks off from running (so we'll see how shamrock and monument go!), but I guess that's what I needed.
I bought new shoes, so tonight I go back to running.
Here goes nothing!

My suggestion is that you make sure your foot pain is 100% gone. If the inflammation is reduced but is just below your pain threshold, it won't take much for it to return. If this is a persistant issue, make sure you visit with your podiatrist to get you through your upcoming races!
